Robin Kodial ( Instagram: robintheneedle ) is the shop owner + main artist. His superior knowledge and extensive art training while in Canada has allowed him to create your ideas into a masterpiece using your skin as his canvas. Plus his unique ability to use only a picture as a reference, he can freehand your tattoo idea using the lines and contour of your body to enhance the tattoo, also making it a one of a kind original piece. For those of you looking for dark (sur)real, horror, bio-organic designs then Robin is the artist for you. He also specializes in portraits and realistic artwork.
Tattoos done by Robin are charged at a rate of 130€ per hour.

Rodrigo Malaghini ( Instagram: rodrigo_malaghini ) he is originally from Brazil but currently lives in Helsinki. He first came into contact with art as a child and was later inspired by his love for metal music and the album cover artworks. His first step into tattooing was being taught the basics by a childhood friend, and in 2008 he moved to London to apprentice at a tattoo studio there. He has also worked in other countries, like USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Denmark.
His preferred styles are black & grey realism, surrealism, and dark art.
Tattoos by Rodrigo are charged at an hourly rate of 120€/hour. Service in English and Portuguese.

Oi Tattoer Hello! My name is Rattanawadee, but most people call me Oil. I’m 38 years old and originally from Thailand, though I’ve been living in Finland for about 12 years. I’ve loved drawing since I was a child, and in 2019, I turned my passion into a career by becoming a tattoo artist. My specialty is fine-line work, including whip shading and black-and-grey tattoos, with a focus on creating delicate and precise designs. While I’m interested in almost all tattoo styles, I tend to avoid working with vibrant colors. My native language is Thai, but I also speak a little English and Finnish.
Tattoos done by Oi Tattoer are charged at a rate of 130€ per hour.

Booking a Tattoo Appointment
*You must be 18 years of age to get a tattoo at our studio. If you are between 16 and 18, you are still eligible to get a tattoo, although we require parental consent. We will ask for proof of photo identification from both parent and child. The last names of the identification must be the same. If they are not the same then we also require either the birth certificate issued from the hospital or document from the magistrate office stating the parents name and relationship to the child. The parent can log in to check their personal data in the Population Information System and take a screenshot or print out of the information concerning family and children. The personal data of both parent/guardian and child must be visible in the screenshot/print out. If you look underage we will ask for proof of identification as well.*
Before your actual tattoo appointment you may require a consultation with the artist depending on how complicated your tattoo idea is. If your idea is fairly simple you can skip the consultation and go straight to booking your appointment! For those of you requiring a consultation, the first one is always free and usually takes 10-15 mins, to go over the style, size, color and details you want. Feel free to bring any reference photos/pictures you have. Once you have finalized the tattoo design the artist will estimate how long they think it will take and then we can estimate a price based on the artists hourly rate. Please keep in mind these are just estimates and the actual time and cost may differ.
To book an appointment or if you would like the artist to do a sketch of your tattoo design, then we require a deposit. Please be prepared to pay the deposit fee when you come in for your free consultation, if you decide to book an appointment at that time. You can pay either by cash or debit/credit card.
If your tattoo is estimated to take less than 4 hours we take a 50€ deposit.
If your tattoo is estimated to take 4 hours or more we take a 150€ deposit.
N.B.! Revised deposit amounts, starting Apr 1,2023:
If your tattoo is estimated to take 2 hours or less, we take a 50€ deposit.
If your tattoo is estimated to take 2.5-4 hours we take a 100€ deposit.
If your tattoo is estimated to take more than 4 hours we take a 200€ deposit.
If your tattoo remains unfinished by the end of your appointment and you need to book a new appointment, we transfer your deposit to reserve the new date.
The deposit you paid to reserve your appointment will be deducted from the final price when the tattoo is finished.
Please remember that cover ups and full colour tattoos require a minimum of 2 sessions, to get enough coverage and colour depth. Each of these sessions are billed at the artist’s hourly rate.
We guarantee all our tattoos and therefore, if the artist deems it necessary, we offer free touch-ups within the first 3 months of receiving your tattoo, provided you purchase one of the aftercare items we recommend at the time of your tattoo. Aftercare products range from 5€-30€. Please bring your receipt that shows the aftercare proof purchase on the day of your touch up appointment, so you can be exempt from paying the 50€ touch up fee. If you do not purchase one of our aftercare products the touch up will cost 50€. Touch ups for cover up tattoos and tattoos on hands, feet, elbows, knees also cost 50€.
Free touch-ups do not apply to cover-ups, tattoos done by guest artists, nor for tattoos done on days we have special events or offers for tattoo discounts.
To book a touch up appointment we ask that you contact us by email. Send us a picture of the healed tattoo, so the artist can estimate how much time we need to book for you, and a picture of your receipt, so we know if you are eligible for a free touch up.
If you are getting a tattoo on a private body part or in an area where you need to be undressed more than usual, you can request to be in the private booth for your comfort and privacy. We also recommend you wear or bring proper clothing to change into, as nudity is not permitted in our studio!
Some tips to keep in mind if you are spending a full day with us getting tattooed:
*Eat a good breakfast and bring a lunch/snack to have during your breaks
*Bring a blanket or sweater as you may feel cold sitting for a whole day of tattooing
*Ensure you have the proper funds available to pay for your tattoo in full on your appointment date. We accept cash or debit/credit card.

Can I Book An Appointment by Phone or Email Without a Consultation?
For any new tattoo appointment, even if you want an exact replication of a photo/picture without any modifications, we ask that you fill out our tattoo inquiry form. Once we have received your form we will reply by email and offer you an available appointment and an estimate of how long the tattoo will take. Once you confirm a date we would require you to transfer a 50 €/150 € deposit directly into our bank account. Once payment is received we will confirm with you the tattoo appointment date!
Cancelling or Rescheduling an Appointment
If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment we require you give us 2 business days advance notice before your appointment date in order to not lose your deposit. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 2 business days notice then your deposit is lost. Please note that this policy also applies if you need to cancel or reschedule due to illness or quarantine/exposure to coronavirus! Any deposits that we do refund will be in the form of a gift card as we do not give money back!
If you cancel your appointment and the artist has done a sketch for you, then 50€ of your deposit goes to the artist for that design. If you want to make changes to the design after the first free consultation, we charge a 20€ redesigning fee. If you want to make changes to the design on your appointment date then we charge a 30€ redesigning fee.
The 2 business days notice also applies to all touch up appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule a free touch up session, but you do so later than 2 business days before the scheduled appointment, the new touch up appointment will not be free.
Are Walk in Appointments Available?
Yes, our artists may be able to do a walk in tattoo, but only if they aren’t currently booked. By booking your appointment in advance you make sure that the artist can serve you at a time that is convenient for you.
